Nourish in detail

Nourish is a special day to re-energise and refocus your mind whilst connecting with nature in the unspoilt rolling North Hertfordshire countryside, close to the Cambridgeshire and Essex borders.

What is Nourish 

Through a combination of guided walks and purposeful conversations you will reflect on where you are now, your desires and how to move forward positively. This might be around work, your team, a relationship, work/life balance, a change in career or life - big or small - whatever you feel you need some space to think about. 


As someone who has experienced stress, overwhelm, burn out, self doubt - the whole shebang - I understand the importance of having space to just be. Throughout the day, I will share powerful tools from my coaching, personal and leadership development over the last 20 years, including techniques to help you tap in to your inner resourcefulness.

Using nature as our guide, this will be a safe, non judgmental space where you will have time to think from a different perspective. I will invite you to share reflections and experiences - as much or as little as you like - and always with the intent of learning.

We’ll nourish ourselves through sharing, learning and connecting with each other and nature. No doubt there will be some laughter too! We’ll have nutritious healthy food as well as some yummy cakes.

What the day looks like

Outdoor guided walks and indoor sessions will comprise:


Slowing down and tuning in

an opportunity to drop the shoulders, let go of the usual ‘to do list’ and pause. 


Discovering your desires

a focus on how you'd like to feel and what you may want to create in your life.


Clearing the path to create new possibilities

a simple powerful tool that can help shift limiting beliefs, thoughts or conditioning that might be in your way.


Appreciation of yourself, of life, of nature

a focus on moving forward and appreciating all that life has to offer

Why me and why nature?

When I'm in nature, I feel grounded and calm.  I'm able to view things differently and get perspective on whatever's on my mind (which is often quite a lot!).  My own personal experience of stress, overwhelm, self-doubt, high expectations, perfectionism, procrastination (the list could go on!) are why I do the work I do.  I  know what the cost has been to me and I see it in others too. 


Through extensive and intensive training I've got to know myself pretty well.  I've learnt many tools and practices that help me live in a more aligned and joyful way.  That doesn't mean I'm all sorted, far from it, but my intention with Nourish is to share some of the things that I've learnt and provide a space for you to ease the pressure, breathe and gain perspective.  Nature offers us the perfect setting for that.   I don't have a set formula, a process for you to follow, I will flex to the needs of the group always with intention of creating a safe, warm, non judgemental space for you to grow.  I will offer insights and tools for you - some will resonate, some won't,  but if nothing else you'll get a day to drop the mask, drop the shoulders and just be you.


Being in nature really does help us reconnect with ourselves and what’s important to us. I think we all felt that during lockdowns.  And, when we're in that space we’re better able to think clearly, make good decisions, be creative all the while valuing ourselves and others.


Research has proved that spending a minimum of 2 hours connecting with nature can:

De-stress and replenish energy levels

Improve mood

Decrease anxiety

Reduce blood pressure

Boost the immune system

Improve concentration, creativity, and memory

Increase resilience levels

Calm emotional states

Improve sense of life satisfaction


So, this day, is an opportunity to be in nature and observe how it can help you move forward positively. It will be an exploration, like a mini expedition for your mind and by working with nature, we’ll look at the lessons we can learn and how to use those in real life.
